Igate Manor

Igate Manor, with its roots dating back to 1455 when it was sold to Peter von der Borch, has a rich history of changing ownership and styles. In the late 1800s, a neo-Renaissance manor was constructed, showcasing elegant design by Rudolfs Cirkvics for the von Pistolkors family. Over the years, it served various purposes, including a children's boarding school and an orphanage. In 1996, it transitioned into an event venue for weddings and celebrations, managed by the State Real Estate Agency until 2022. On August 25, 2022 the castle was sold allowing the new owners to preserve its historical legacy while embracing new, modern development under the stewardship of the Ošs and Lāči families.
