Join the 5th edition of Manor Muses in Latvia! Following the massive success and complete sell-out of this year's event, we are returning in 2027 to the same beloved, stunning locations on the country’s west side.

Our home base for the whole event and also one of the shooting locations will once again be the historic Ēdole Castle, alongside the fancy Kukši Manor and the rustic Padure Manor, with each day bringing a new, unique historical backdrop.

All models pose across the genres of art nude, portraits, and fashion.
*Additional models will be confirmed based on participant numbers to maintain 2:1 and 1:1 shooting ratios.

Styling is beautifully curated and provided by Ilvy, drawing inspiration from Baroque, Victorian, and vintage aesthetics.

Locations

Built in 1264, Ēdole Castle is the only remaining livable castle from the former Bishopric of Courland. It gained its Neo-Gothic look in the 1830s and sits on an island, offering panoramic views of the Temple Hill, mill pond, park, and Vanka River valley. The castle features towers, arched corridors, grand halls, and preserved medieval interiors. Ēdole Castle will also serve as the main accommodation for this event.

Built in the early 19th century by Scottish merchant John Lewis Balfour, Padure Manor is an example of Classicism architecture. The interiors retain original doors, floors, staircases, wall drawings, and eight historic ovens. It is set in a park with a 180-year-old linden alley, providing structured historical spaces suitable for photography.

First documented in 1530 and shaped by 18th and 19th century renovations, Kukši Manor sits on an estate featuring an expansive, well-kept garden with walking paths tracing a private lake. The interior has been comprehensively refurbished to a high standard, housing an extensive art and antique collection alongside original 18th-century wall paintings and historic tile stoves. The property also features a restaurant selected for the Michelin Guide Latvia, offering a blend of preserved historical aesthetics and refined hospitality for both interior and landscape shoots.

Pricing

Choose between 1:1 or 2:1 shooting format. We follow a set schedule that ensures every photographer gets dedicated time to shoot with each model, along with opportunities for duos and all models group shoots. 2:1 SHOOTING RATIO: Two photographers share shooting time with one model. This format suits those who are comfortable working alongside another photographer and exchanging ideas during the shoot. 1:1 SHOOTING RATIO: All shoots will be one to one, without sharing time. It is designed for photographers who prefer a more private and focused working process.

ACCOMMODATIONS

We will stay in the hotel wing of Ēdole Castle. Every participant receives a private double or twin room complete with an en-suite bathroom. For those seeking extra space and luxury, master suite upgrades are also available for +€200 for 4 nights.
