This year’s Chateau Event took place at a beautiful Chateau in Burgundy — a quiet countryside manor with renovated rooms, many shooting spots, and a small lake next to the property. During the warm first days, we had our meals outside on the terrace overlooking the lake. For the second event, the temperature dropped, and we lit the furnaces, which added a cosy touch to the sessions.

Photographers worked in a wide range of locations: the cigar room, Blue Room, staircase, fountain, greenhouse, the back of the chateau with a full view of the building, the different bedrooms and bathrooms, the billiard room, and the small bamboo forest. Each space offered its own mood and led to a diverse mix of images.
Our models — LaSy, Ilvy, Leo, Claire, and Anna Nymphorchidea (for the 1:1 days) — worked across all these settings, giving photographers plenty of variety in style and atmosphere.
Meals were prepared by our travelling chef from Latvia, Ričards, whose excellent food kept everyone energized throughout the long shooting days. Breaks naturally turned into small creative discussions, moodboard talks, and shared ideas.
A favourite moment for many was the picture viewing evening, where everyone gathered to look at the results. It was inspiring to see how differently each photographer used the same rooms, light, and models — a reminder of how different everyone’s artistic vision is.
