In June 2025, Manor Muses took place as a European portrait and fine art photography workshop in two formats: 1:1 (June 5–9) and 2:1 (June 9–13).
We worked with models Ilvy Kokomo, Silvy Sirius, Katerina Maragkaki, and Olya Shevchuk, creating strong, styled sets in historic Latvian manor houses.

Blankenfelde Manor offered a beautiful rustic interior with original wall paintings, race horses, and a huge garden. Our accommodation was in the comfortable, refurbished part of the manor.
Jaunauce Manor had two contrasting parts — one carefully restored and elegant, the other preserved from its former school days, including an untouched chemistry class, gym, and other historical spaces. The manor is also surrounded by a lake and a beautiful garden.
The shooting days were full but not overly early. On some days, we worked later into the evening to catch the soft sunset light. All meals were prepared by our talented chef, Ričards, and shared together at the manor.
We concluded both sessions with a fun and educational photo viewing evening, reviewing selected images created during the event. It is always inspiring to see how different photographers interpret the same locations and models.
